Be careful when you sell your home because there are termite company scam artists. As a full time Realtor, I ran into the situation 3 times. Each Termite company lied. Scam Termite Reports Are Quite Prevalent
I was not the only Realtor finding scam artists at termite companies. Each time I listed a home and was told there were termites I would contact a reputable company and have them investigate. If no termites were found, I threatened the companies making the false reports. I let them know if they did not change their report, I would turn them into the Structural Pest Control Commission. The Structural Pest Control Commission is now known as the Arizona Pest Management Division.
Threaten the Termite Scam Artists And They Will Change Their Report
Magically, the termite scam artists would change their report once they realized they could lost their license by making false claims.
